Buckhead Events and Entertainment

An alluring aspect of Chastain Park is its amphitheater. Pack a picnic dinner and enjoy a relaxing evening beneath the stars as a who’s who of national acts graces the stage each summer. The park is also home to the Buckhead Spring Arts & Crafts Festival and the Chastain Park Arts Fall Festival, making the Buckhead area a great place at any time of the year.

Shopping, Wining and Dining

One thing is certain: there are plenty of things to do in Buckhead without ever leaving the neighborhood. Two of its most famous attractions are Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza malls. People come from all over the country to shop in boutiques like Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, Kate Spade, Tiffany’s, Burberry, and Cartier. This is why many people call Buckhead the “Beverly Hills of the South.” After a day of shopping, you will want to enjoy a nice meal at one of the dozens of restaurants to choose from. Some local favorites are Atlanta Fish Market and Restaurant Eugene. You might also want to spend a night on the town dancing, having drinks with friends, or listening to live music at a place like Havana Club, Cafe Tu Tu Tango or Tongue & Groove.

Parks and Recreation

If you prefer to spend your weekends outdoors, the Chastain Memorial Park is a great place to play tennis, golf, swim, or watch the kids play sports. It even has its own amphitheater where you can catch a concert at nights. The Atlanta Memorial Park is home to the world-famous Bitsy Grant Tennis Center and Bobby Jones Golf Course.
